Half my channels on eurovox are showing no signal?

For the last few days my eurovox is showing no signal on about half my channels others are a bit pixalated i have done power scan but makes no difference, everything was working perfect a few days ago. I've read somewhere about buying a variable attenuator to reduce the signal strength, does this work? has anyone tried this or can someone suggest a solution, thanks, Richard

you need to replace the attenuator 6dB,(You can buy them from places like maplin £4.99) if to much signal. The power of the sinal should be 80. if the power is to hign you need to do above or if their is little power you need to buy tv amplifer from argos £9.00

you need to either re-enter the codes you've previously entered or enter new codes
