How do I get a fitting off that is solvent welded?

The seal inside the boss connector going to the soil and vent pipe is leaking. the boss connecter is solvent welded but needs to be replaced. How can I get this off without damaging the main soil and vent pipe.

it is impossible to free a solvent joint without damaging it only solution is to replace boss joint
