Just opened the door of my BEKO dishwasher. There was a loud crash almost as if the plates inside had broken. The door will open and close but will not stay ajar and there is no automatic return. From the right hand bottom hinge slot there is a piece of string now hanging down which I assume is a broken rope hinge (as described by the BEKO website). I can order a replacement but is this a DIY job?
