potterton 80e no heating!!?

my potterton 80e boiler does not fire up for the central heating on constant but it does when i turn on the hot water tap, so the water is fine but i have no heating!!! help?

possibly faulty pump.

Have you got a dripping hot tap which is enough to affect the heating
Could try turning of main stop cock off just in case to prove
