How do I fix this error: "cannot communicate with" a website?

since yesterday, i can not access a number of websites i used to be able to enter just fine hours before. another strange thing is, it started with one and now theres like 7 sites i cant access.
heres what happends: i try to enter the site. after a little while, it says "internet explorer cannot display the website". underneath it gives you the option to "diagnose connection problems". when clicked, it scans for a while and says: "cannot communicate with [in this case] thedw.us(72.32.231.8)
network diagnostics pinged the remote host but did not receive a response" and the option it gives you is to reset the network adapter "wireless networ connection" as doing this can sometimes resolve an intermittent problem. when i click that, it "repairs" for a while and then says: "checking for other network problems...there still seems to be a problem with your connection" while still scanning, then finally says the problem still exists.

please help as it getting really frustrating. specially the aparent domino efect which keeps canceling sites i can access.

Have you tried installing another internet browser to check whether the problem is with your current one? If a new browser works the problem isn't with your network connection.

(You could uninstall the temporary browser after the test.)
