How can I get padded recordings on a Humax 9200T?

Is there a version of software available which adds automatic record time padding for a Humax 9200T (DVR/PVR)?

The unit is great, but it is a real problem that it does not automatically back-off a recording's start time and extend the recording's end time. Most of the recordings I make at the moment are clipped at one end or the other, because the programmes don't start at the exact billed time.

Really hoping that there is a fix (upgrade) for this issue.

There is talk of an update being broadcast in May which will enable padding on the Humax 9200T.

Check the version of software which you have on your Humax 9200T. Is it probably version a4.07.

According to other forums, Humax are hoping to release an upgrade which contains padding functions. (It may also fix a bug with the EPG. Have you noticed that the EPG listing data is cleared everytime you turn the box off? Humax are working on a fix for this. The EPG data should be stored on the disk.)
