Everyting was running fire on the oil fired heating system until the timer went blank and after pressing boost button, a low glow appeared on the red indicator.
The battery in the unit is producing almost 3 volts and the AC power to the unit seems fine.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated as i dont want to go and replace the unit if the fault may lie elsewhere.
