Change/Adjust date for Uniwell NX 5400-F?

I just purchased a second hand Uniwell NX 5400-F cash register and the date on the machine is wrong, I need help with directions on how iam able to change it to the correct date, if someone can help me that'd be great. I managed to find a operators manual to it but it seems that it is no help to me.

Yep ... good old Uniwell. They must figure setting the date and time is not something the average user would want to do; the procedure is only in the Programming manual.

1) Turn the key to the 'X' position.
2) Enter a 1 to set the date or a 2 to set the time.
3) Press the '.' (decimal) key
4) If setting the date, enter the date as YYYYMMDD - must be 8 digits i.e. Sept. 6, 2009 would be entered as 20090906. If setting the time, enter the time as HHMMSS - must be 6 digits, military time format i.e. 6:00 am would be entered as 060000, 6:00 pm would be 180000.
5) Press the X2/ENTER key
