the boiler was in the house when i bought it its been ok for 2 years got it checked out when i first moved in

boiler turns on fires up fine about 1 minute after you can hear banging from the boiler the pipes get red hot coming from the boilerthen it switches of the reset button doesnt work it seems 2 cool back down then try again a few minutes after

can you hear the pump running, is there water in the header tank in the loft or possible blockage in the system
