the plastic end has broken off my peugeot 206 dipstick. looking into it it appears that this is not the only one it has happened to. the plastic end is still in the bottom of the engine!!! will it do any harm untill the oil is changed?
Hi mate it will do no harm i had this happen a few months back. the broken bit will sit in the oil filter. if it did make it to the enging it would brake up as its so brittal.

No highly unlikely as the oil pick up filter will not allow it to pass through!
