how can i fix my indesit w103?

How do i re-set the timer after it has been stopped half way through a cycle.
The dial keeps spinning around and won't stay on a setting.

my indesit washing machinew103 has not started a cycle but the dial is just clicking round on it own ideas how to reset it?

Try setting it to Drain - you'll probably have to unplug it to do so, so that it forgets that it was mid-cycle.

Once it's finished draining it should return to normal
