Hi Guys, I have a Electrolux EFI620 extractor fan and this has cut out completely after a bulb blew. Does anyone have any ideas at all? Many thx for all the positive replies..cheers

how do you change the ligh bulb on an efc 650 cooker hood?

Thanks for this advice, it just solved my extractor/bulb fault. Both stopped working after the bulb blew.
I took the unit apart but couldn't find a fuse, so after reading this I climbed on the kitchen units and cranked my neck above the unit that houses the fan/below the ceiling and found the spur socket thing. It needed a 3 amp fuse.
Many thanks!

Hi, I had the same problem and replaced the fuse and the bulbs to no avail. Still no joy. Hover the fuse that was in it is 13amp - Peccavi are you sure yours is 3amp? I will check the manual. If anyone can help I would much appreciate. Thanks.

there is no obvious outlet for a fuse? where could it be?

thanks a lot !!!!
i too had the same problem, one of the bulb blew and extractor fan stopped working.
As per your advise i changed the fuse ( which had also blown away). Now everything seems to be working perfectly...
Thanks a lot again !!!

The cooker hood will very probably be on its own fused supply - the lamp blowing may well have blown the fuse - look for the external control that isolates your cooker hood - see if it has a fuse - mine does - 3A.
