Stopping mid-wash, and sometimes immediately after the initial usual start-up noises. Sometimes the start/pause button flashes but pressing it will not restart the machine. Having to drain and rinse and try other programmes. Now and again this works but I've spent a whole day trying to wash a load of nappies! (and now my tumbledryer's stopped working too - aagh!) What could be the problem with the washing machine?

we have tryed this more than once and it still does it....think the control unit/board needs changing..is that right..can it be changed...???

the only thing you can do is remove the filter at the bottom and check it is clean and clear inside the filter housing
