How much Salt should i put in?

I have a whirlpool 2000 Dishwasher i believe i have to put salt in But how much ??? and which hole does it go into HELP !!!!

In the bottom of the dishwasher you'll find a large plastic spin off top - just tip the salt in there until its full. The machine measures out a preset dose at every wash.
