FITTING A SPRING FORD MONDEO?

FITTING A FRONT SPRING TO A 2000 FORD MONDEO
CHRIS, March 2006
chris, fitting a spring is not a hard job but the spring is under great pressure and so a special clamp is required which holds the spring in the compressed state while you remove it from the strut you can higher these from your local higher shop,to remove the strut from the car jack up remove the wheel.remove pinch bolt in clamp which is situated around the bottom of the strut[there are two bolts],you then remove the top bolts holding the strut in place then lever the stub axle down and lift the strut out you can then get at the spring.good luck m8
