How to clear e-mode bad flow state on Samsung 6500?

I accidentally pressed a couple of keys while taking the keyboard cover off with the key in P-mode. How do I clear this? I don't mind clearing the memory as there is no data saved that I need. This machine is new to me and I need to re-program all the keys anyway.

You might try an Initial Clear. To do this:

1) Unplug the register from power.
2) Turn the keyswitch to the P position.
3) While holding down the button in the lower right corner, usually the CASH key, plug the register in.

If you do it correctly, the register will print a slip that says "INITIAL CLEAR !!" on the receipt printer. This won't affect any of the programming or totals in the register.
