How can I replace my clutch?

How can I replace my clutch on a Citroen Synergie
W J Higgs, March 2006
You will require a clutch allignment tool, a ratchet strap and new clutch, remove the nearside halfshaft, this is done by undoing the lower suspention pivot bolt. remove the CV joint cable ties / clips then wiggling it away from the gearbox. now remove the starter and all bellhousing bolts now carefully remove the gearbox from the car to reveal the flywheel. remove the clutch plate retainer noting there position. using the allignement tool locate the clutch disc and tool into the center bearing of the flywheel, now fit the new clutch plate retainer. once tightened, remove the tool, and re-fit the gearbox. use the ratchet strap on returning the lower suspention pivot point bolt. and re-cabletie the CV gators.
