How can I fix my Zanussi ZX99/5W FRIDGE-FREEZER? ?

Ihave a Zanussi ZX99/5W FRIDGE FREEZER and it has just stopped working,but the light comes on when you open the door.I have been told it could be the thermostat, but I don't know how to get to it as I do not have any manuals. Can anyone help please.
