glow worm boiler f9 code?

glow worm hxi 18 gas boiler, F9 fault code. have replaced main p,c,b board. still has same code, now i have replaced the fan assembly. still has the same code, when switched on the fan runs for a second then locks out with F9 code . can anybody help.

Hi, I have recently experienced the same issue... had to reset the overheat thermostat....

But, the problem keeps on reoccurring - any permanent fix?

over heat has not tripped out. i will replace both thermisistors.and see what happens. f9 code is constant with flashing red light.

is the f9 code flashing or constant? if its constant its likel to be either faulty thermisters or the overheat thermostat needs to be manually reset this is on the upper left hand side of the boiler next to the heat exchanger and has a red reset button
