my computer keeps making a beeping noise everytime i start it up ?

my computer (laptop) Compaq presrio f500 keeps making a beeping noise i start it up, nothing comes onto the screen just makes that beeping noise then restarts what the hell is going on with it ? anyone please help I've left it for 2 days and still its making that noise ( nothing at all comes on screen)

Could be a hardware error, eg a fan.

The beeps are Bios beeps, this is trying to tell you what the fault is if you count them EG. 2 SHORT AND 3 LONG BEEPS you will then need to go 2 the Compaq web site (on another pc)to find out what the code means
