tomtom works as normal but no voices even when turned up to 90% and will not test!!

when purchased from retailer, tom toms come with a home software disc and a credit type card which has the product code on. using these plug tom tom into your computer using the lead (also provided) to get free upgrades to maps and free support direct from tom tom.
