Hotpoint washing machine overfilling?

My Hotpoint washing machine is overfilling with water and then leaking from the bottom of the door

Pump or filter could be blocked, both located in bottom of machine.
Open filter and clean it or
if you have no filter, remove hose to pump and remove any debris!
