We have a second hand Dimplex XT12 when we first installed it it worked ok on a low heat 2, for about a week but when we went to turn it up to say 3 it didnt heat up overnight. We left it in on for a few more days and nothing no heat.Last night it heated up but the heater is really hot(set on a level 2) it smelt like it was burning. Does anyone know what the problem is ? and what we can do to rectify it.
