Simply a poor timing matter and an unawareness of Windows 7, I replaced our pc and dell laptop, both Vista OS. missed unknown deadline by a couple months to get free Windows 7. Microsoft is not sympathetic to us now, therefore we're left to pay nearly $200.
One last effort to get Windows 7 free for laptop and PC w/Vista.
Anyway to get it free? Please advise.

Unawareness of the law too...

You are asking for advice on how to steal software - buy the upgrade and run it legally on both machines - I believe the S/W licensing Ts&Cs permit use on two machines of the same user...

UK prices for W7 upgrade are: £80 / £190 / £200
for Home Premium / Professional / Ultimate

Slightly cheaper from Amazon...
