These storage heaters will only charge up when they need to, depending on the input number selected, when the room temperature is warm enough, they don't heat up, this is normal (the higher the number the more heat input). If you need the heater to come increase the input dial number. I have Creda storage heaters, and mine don't heat up when it's not needed, I set the heat input and leave them alone as they come on when they need to, this is normal.
