How can I recover my Toshiba L300 laptop system?

Problem with Toshiba Satellite L300-135 SYSTEM UNIT
MODEL NO. PSLB0E-02H01HAR

Installed HP all-in -one printer.
Next start up get message:-
"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change micght be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settingings then click "Next".
3. Click "Repair your computer".

If you do not have this disc, contact your administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

File: \Boot\BCD

Status OxOOOOOOf

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data."

No discs were supplied with the laptop - the only disc I have is the recovery disc I made from the system.

When I insert this recovery disc - screen blacks then shows the above message again.

I am in China now and don't speak the language here well so finding a Toshiba service centre is a a major task and I can't find any help on Toshiba on line as usual.

Can you help?
