When the Inside Drum of my washer rotates there is a sharp scrapping sound which continues throughout the whole cycle. I have emptied the drainage chamber but it hasn't helped. It sounds like there is something trapped below the Drum but I am unsure of how to tackle this. Can anyone help please?

if you take off the sump hose you should be able to get at whatever is inside (usually a bra wire) but do be careful and make sure the machine is unplugged.
