Hi, my boiler fan is running all the time, even when hot water / central heating is off. Everything else seems to be working but the fan isn't switching off ? Can anybody advise.

Some early Heatslave oils had a post purge kit fitted to ventilate the combustion chamber when the burner shut down, it sounds like the timer has failed causing the burner motor to run constantly the timer is fitted in the boiler control panel - left hand side, replacement costs about £90
