Grill not working on AEG B4100-1?

My AEG B4100-1 oven works perfectly except on the grill setting. Is the grill element the most likely culprit? How do I go about testing it to see if it's definitely the element?

remove the back panel and using a multimeter across the 2 inner terminals you should get a reading 30-40 ohms and across the 2 outer terminals you should get a reading 30-40ohms.no reading or high kohms reading means a blown element and will need replacing
