I have the above dvd recorder,i put it on progressive scan by mistake and now the picture is not visible on the television,it jumps about,so i am unable to read setup etc.I've tried power off/power on with no result.
Can someone please help if they can.

messed up your settings ?
unplug the unit.. take the top off & look for the small button battery on the main circuit board (right hand side) - probably got a splat of glue on it.. remove the battery & go have a coffee...
put the battery back on, replace cover & plug it in again..
voila - setting dropped to default.
to make the player use all regions of dvd (ntsc, pal etc) eject any disc from the player.. press stop on remote & then hit the zero key 6 times - a yellow box will tell you its now 'region free'
