Thanks for that i have just got this machine but with no instructions. It seems to do every other stitch but straight. The only straight stitch i get is when it sews away from you. It has 2 number dials, the one on the front is for the size and the side i am not sure. The only offer for straight stitch is 6 straight lines but when i use that it is also zig zag. I must have something else set wrong. Thanks for your help.

Hello Ina,
You should have straight stitch on the dial and then select the length.
