.............and won't switch off, unless batteries removed.
Problem occurred after downloading pictures to pc. No probs for two years before. Mustek did not reply to email.

Thanks Ricky, but the screen is just blank and no pressing of any buttons produces anything. All it does is switch on with the green led, and will not respond to anything, not even switching off. The only way to switch off then is to remove the AA batteries. I've taken it apart to see if there is any physical clue, but no sign of anything wrong. Methinks it's had it.

1)If there is a memory card inside the camera, please take it out and check.
(OR)
2)As u told the Problem occurred after downloading pictures to pc , it might be infected with VIRUS so please FORMAT the camera.(TO FORMAT The camera goto settings of the camera)

3)If still the same issue , check by changing the settings to default.(It could say RESET or FACTORY SETTINGS)
