I have a golf sdi 2001 Y plate and it has a 6 cd changer.I inserted a cd into the player and it was for cd 2 and it took it into the player as normal and then would not play and a message cd error keeps displaying after it has beeped just once.The radio is fine yet when I try to play cd's it just keeps displaying cd error.I hve 6cd's in the player and it seems no 2 is jammed ,can anybody help please.

I've got the same problem on mine - does anyone have a solution, other than replacing the CD stacker itself (cost of $600)

Try filling all trays, then select eject on each one in turn - this may unjam the No 2. The other option which I did was to remove the CD, then take of the cover and unblock it manually.
