hotpoint mistral ff91 fidge not cooling properly?

my fridge is not cooling properly i have tried defrosting itfor 24hrs but when i turned it back on after about 1hr the reading shows the freezer is -22 and the fridge shows +20 IHAVE UNSCREWED THE PANEL IN THE FREEZER and the fan is working properly any advice please

I have had the same problem. I think it is because the tube at the back of the fride gets blocked with ice. 24hrs is not long enough for it to defrost at least 3 or 4 days is needed

I think you have the same problem as me, does an error code show. Mine showed code E7. Research on the net shows it means the evaporator fan thermo has gone. I have just ordered one for £15.99 and will let you know if it helps. Email if you want me to let you know
