The ignition switch on my gas hob has bee stuck on ignition for the past few days. Cooker works fine but I have to keep the hob switched off at mains as the ignition is constantly clicking. Any tips before I have to call out for a repair? Seems like such a minor problem but a callout would cost alot.

Most people say its due to moisture in the switch, and if you use a hair dryer to remove the moisture, that works wonders. Good luck!!
