boiler fault?

when the fuse spare is turned on the pump and fan runs even though no heating or hot water is in use this is on a chaffoteaux maury mx2 24ff

turn spur on and leave it for a couple of minutes, the boiler maybe doing a self test after the the power supply was interrupted, turned off,power cut etc
mine does it but its a valliant boiler,the pump settles after about 4-5 mins max running .
