Heating but no hot water?

I had a condenser boiler fitted in October. For 2 - 3 weeks I have had to bleed the radiators every other day in 1 of my bedrooms as it went cool. It finally stopped working on Thursday and didnt come on at all. Since then I have had no water coming out of the hot water taps either. The heating came back on on Saturday night but as yet still no hot water only cold coming through the cold taps but nothing through the hot. Initially we thought the pipes may be frozen but it doesnt appear to be so as all pipes feel warm and the house is boiling. Any ideas.....

sounds like the cold supply or hot outlet is frozen. if the pipes seem warm then it's probably when the pipes pass under the floor. it's a case of wait for the thaw or get a plumber out to clear the ice and insulate the pipes to try and prevent in future. you will get some heat tracking down the pipes which will make them warm, but not enough to defrost. main cold supply to cold taps is probably ok due to it being in larger bore pipe and at higher pressure.
