Thomson Freeview box?

Is is possible for this box to stop working if you unplug it from wall without turning off. TOP up tv are telling me that is the probem.

It possible I guess but Page 33 of the TopupTV manual for the box suggest doing just that and so I reckon that they don't have leg to stand on.

BTW have you read Page 33?
