my ceramic igniters will not stop arching?

the only way i`ve found to stop this is to turn the appliance off at the wall

i`ve solved the problem myself. i cleaned hob surface with a spray cleaner and put to much on hob causing the igniters to "short" out. now they are dry and they are ok now
