because my tv scarts are not working i dicided to connect me digibox and dvd player to my video recorder my dvd player works fine but my digi box pictue comes on multi coloured plz help me

Its unusual that Scarts 'are not working' are you sure? They are usually AV1 and AV2 on your remote.
