vauxhall zafira starter motor?

hi can any1 help me ive got a 03 zafira 2.0 diesiel which will not turn over it just makes a clicking sond but it wll bump start any idears on wot it cud be

it will be your starter motor.try puting it in gear and rocking it backwards and forwards b4 u start it it mite come un stuck.
