Baxi Bermuda 522?

Have a baxi bermuda 522 back boiler , heating working upstairs but not down stairs , pump seems to stop but heating remains on. Pump very hot. Is like air in the pump. Tried bleeding pump and removed air ( lots)
HW stopped heating , seems thermostat is not kicking in, tried turning it up to no avail. Intermittently thermostat kicks in then goes off again after 5 minutes Help please

Sorry John dont have a header tank that i can see in attic and dont know how to fill system ? thanks for advice

make sure your system is full of water and can fill, or the new pump wont work either

the pump requires replacement, you could remove the vent screw and use a small flat blade screwdriver to see if it is turning the impellar inside, that may release it if it is stuck, there may be some water and black sludge to deal with so be carefull, definatley your pump is the problem
