Plus-gas is a much better penetrant than WD40.
The Haynes workshop manual for your car costs about £20 from bookshops, Halfords, amazon etc., good instructions, pics and tech data such as torque settings etc.

they are towards the back of the engine, near the top, they are often seized into the cylinder head & because they are a smaller diameter than most, they can snap very easily. use plenty of wd40 before trying to move them & then try to tease them out gently
