Replacing keypad????

I have a Honeywell Ademco home alarm and my keypad has gotten old to the point that a few numbers are very difficult to push. I was wondering if I purchased a new keypad of the same exact model, is it going to be as simple as just a wire harness swap? Are there any other things that have to be done for the replacement to work properly? Thank you in advance.

just remember to power down first

So it does not have to be reprogramed? It will automatically be set up the same as the one I disconnected?

yes it should be easy just write the colours of the wires and the names of them and when you come to fit the new one just look at you wiring diagram
