engine light is flashing ;loss of power on hills , car feels jumpy in the higher gears

My daughters 206 is doing exact same thing intermittently, awaiting a code reader, will reply again when I have it.

Could be many things: for example
Coil pack
Plugs
Cheap petrol
Contaminated fuel

Get the fault codes read. No need to guess so much then.
