My Bosch WFB 1605 is making a racketing noise as that of a helicopter?

My washing machine, Bosch WFB 1605 is making a racketing noise (sounds like a helicopter)!! Seems like something is wrong with the rubber or drum... what could it be? how can it be fixed?

What did you do with your machines?
My Bosch WFB2005 just did the same on fast spin with a heavy load. I took the top off for a quick visual check but the only thing I could find was a little (1mm) end play in the bearings.
It seems to be working again at the moment.
