Myson Apollo - pilot light will not stay on?

Hi, can anyone help?!!! I have to keep manually igniting the pilot light as it won't turn on automatically anymore and it will only stay lit for about 10-20 minutes before turning off again. My friend has changed some copper wire thing which worked the very first time automatically but won't anymore so I'm back to doing it manually. I just can't afford to call anyone out right now so wondered if this is perhaps a common problem that someone can help with??? Many thanks!!!

Thank you so much for the advice. It's an Apollo 40 S if that makes any difference. I have tried bleeding the radiators but they were all ok. Now the boiler fan doesn't always come on either so the problem is definitely getting worse! I've been quoted £192 from British Gas for a guarantee fix and 12 months warranty without them even knowing the problem so I'm thinking this could be worth it??? Thanks again.

if its running for 20 min then the pilot goes out, sounds like the boiler is overheating, cutting the pilot out, hows the pump sound? Make sure the radiators are bled/there is water in the system, otherwise gas pressure could be too high/sludged up system/slow fan.
