What are the settings for the boiler pressure?

The pressure has fallen and was started again by increasing the pressure but it has now risen to 3 so I have turned it off.

Pressure should normally be about 1.5. It will rise when the boiler is on. If it gets too much there is a safety valve that releases pressure outside.
