My vw golf wont start its turning over but not connecting,i had a push start recently and it started but i had to keep it in high revs,but as soon as i took my foot off the accelarator it cut out.The problem arrised when driving home at 40 mph and it just cut out and stalled,i had to keep pumping the accelarator to get it home

well its somthink to do with fuel iv narrowed that down, change fuel filter, Fuel pump, if its an old peterol engine check the carburetta and also check the fuel injectors
