whirring noise coming from motor ?

Hello my beko washing machine is 14 months old and throws electric off when switched on. There is a whirring noise coming from motor when turned as its just out of warrenty commet said its £30 call out and £45 for advice then parts on top so could cost up to £100 could it be the brushes

This will not be the brushes at this age.sounds more like a motor issue.speak with trading standards about goods lasting a reasonable length of time!
